The National Lottery Authority (NLA) was established under Act 722 (2006) and its supportive Legislative Instrument LI 1948 (Lotto Regulations 2008) to Regulate, Supervise, Conduct, Manage and provide assistance to issues related to National Lotto in Ghana.

Its mission is to create moments of Hope and Happiness through exciting Lottery Games that generate Revenue for National Development and make all Stakeholders ultimate Winners with a vision To become the Organization of Choice and Blueprint for Lottery in Africa

The Mobile Lottery Platform is the latest of innovative initiatives being introduced by the NLA to allow users play games from the mobile phones or other mobile electronic devices.

It introduces a convenient channel for playing lottery games and provides wide options for payment including Visa, Master Card and Mobile Money for top-ups ad withdrawals.

The first NLA game to be introduced onto the platform is the already existing 5/90 fixed odds game which has been played since 1962 with daily draws from Monday to Saturday. Other games as and when introduced by the NLA will be made available on the platform like the Sports Lottery SoccerCash game, a collaboration with the Ministry of Youth and Sports which is currently played on NLA Point of Sale Terminals (POSTs).
